Another big festival will be shortly upon us with the Cheltenham November Festival – my stomping ground.

Many of you will know JPW Racing Tipster and Cheltenham go hand in hand. We are 15 from 17 Cheltenham Festivals (March) in profit and 16 from 17 Cheltenham November Festivals in profit – looking to make it 17 from 18 November Festival’s in profit.

Let’s touch up on some recent big days at the November Festival.

In 2024 we made 14 points profit.

In 2023 we made 2 points profit.

In 2022 we smashed the November Festival with 8 points profit and even won the Scoop 6 Bonus, netting £308k between myself and members who played.

In 2021 we smashed the November Festival with 10 points profit over the 3 days and this year will be no different.

Next up is the Cheltenham November Festival. A festival which runs for 3 days between Friday 14th November and Sunday 16th November. Over the 3 days we have some excellent graded races along with some very competitive handicaps, the type of races we love.

It is a festival we have done extremely well in the past making profit in 16 of the last 17 years and confidence as always is extremely high.

If you take yourself back to 2022 at the Festival and on the Saturday, we smashed the bookies to bits including a £308k bonus win on the Scoop 6 and even last year we smashed the bookies with 14 points profit.

All tips come with full race analysis and they are the most in depth you will find in the industry. No stone is left unturned and you will find no harder working tipster when it comes to the big Festivals.

Our Festivals are very popular for a big reason, the fact we make huge amounts of profit.

It is a running theme and we could go back a lot longer with all the huge profit we have made at festivals over the years.

I cannot wait for the Cheltenham November Festival to get going and you won’t find a tipster in the whole country with a record like ours when it comes to the Festivals over a 17 year period.

Put simply the Cheltenham November Festival is my time to shine, when the pressure is on, JPW always delivers on the big stage and this year will be no different.

The winning write ups from Last Year’s November Festival

1:10 Cheltenham
DOUBLE POWERFUL 5/1 WINNER
My first thoughts when I look at races with conditional jockeys is which jockeys that rate, what are they riding? If truth be told, I don’t rate many in this field and only 5 jockeys made my shortlist so it was all about working with those 5 horses.
The horse I am happy to side with is DOUBLE POWERFUL who will be ridden by Dylan Johnston, a jockey who I think is very good and as good as many professionals as we have seen many times this season. DOUBLE POWERFUL is trained by Neil Mullholland
and he is a fast improving horse who has ratted up 3 wins on the bounce from 6th October, winning by 8 lengths, 24 lengths and 10 lengths. His rating is now up to 118 but as he won 7 days ago, he gets a 7lb penalty, which means he is still 4lb ahead of the handicapper in this race.
DOUBLE POWERFUL only ran 7 days ago so the fact they are happy to run him so soon, means they feel he can win again and take advantage of only getting a 7lb penalty.
Dylan Johnston has won on him twice this season and although this is a step up in class, the way he has won his last few races, tells me he is more than up to the task. E/W.

4:00 Cheltenham
WRECKLESS ERIC 7/1 WINNER
Another Jonjo O’Neill horse but this time ridden by Kielan Woods with Jonjo O’Neill Jnr riding another horse in the race. I am not reading too much into that though as Kielan Woods has always been on board WRECKLESS ERIC and the owners are obviously staying loyal to him. WRECKLESS ERIC is just a 4 year old who has only raced 4 times, with two wins and a second to his name. He fell on seasonal debut with the race in the bag at Wincanton and it was literally how far he would win by. He was just winding it up when he fell at the 2 hurdles out and although he has gone up the handicap 2lb, if he had won by 10 lengths which may well have happened, he would have gone up a lot more.
I think WRECKLESS ERIC has a lot more to come and is fast improving. On a mark of 117, I feel he could still be well handicapped given his young age and natural progression still to come. E/W.

EAST INDIA DOCK 5/2 WINNER
Form study for this race was pretty simple if truth be told. We didn’t need to overdo it with these Juvenile’s. EAST INDIA ROCK is the highest rated horse in the race from those who have come from the flat. Rated 89 on the flat and as I have said before, you can add around 40 on to the jumps mark which makes him around a 130 horse over jumps.
This is as weak a Juvenile Triumph Hurdle Trial as I can remember and I don’t think we have a world beater in this race, and the best you are going to see going forward is a 130+ horse when they reach full potential.
EAST INDIA ROCK is trained by James Owen who has had a great start to the season and he is flying along. He is a top class trainer with juvenile hurdlers and he showed us that last season, winning this very race with Burdett Road who is also owned by the same owners as EAST INDIA ROCK.
Our selection has had one start over hurdles when winning at Wincanton and jumped well and put the race to bed nicely. He will progress again and as the market suggests, the one they all have to beat.

TRANSMISSION 9/2 WINNER

Starting point in this race is to shift through the amateurs as if you have the right jockey on board, they are worth a stone or more on the right horse. The one that stands out immediately is Patrick Mullins who takes the ride on TRANSMISSION. Neil Mulholland has made a strong booking here and not a partnership I can ever remember anyway. He has only had one start over fences and he is already happy to put him in a handicap chase. His one start over fences was at Cheltenham in October when 2nd to Hyland, who went and won today giving the form a huge boost. TRANSMISSION ran a great race, jumped well and travelled well, just getting outclassed over the final 2 fences.
He is a decent horse who is built for chasing and I think he is the type of horse who could make a mockery of his mark of 129. His hurdle form is decent but it is over fences where we are going to see the best of him.
With Patrick Mullins on board, a jockey who knows how to win over these fences, he has to have a huge chance and I am even happy to raise the stake slightly. WIN.

2:20 Cheltenham
MATATA 7/4 WINNER
Just a 4 horse race and this race is really going to suit MATATA, another front runner who will simply go fast and hard from the front and play catch me if you can. Ordinarily I would look towards a horse like Third Time Lucki who is now trained by Fergal O’Brien, but he has been off the track since April 2023 and it will be some performance if he could win this after over 600 days off the track. I think he will be given a confidence booster and they will look to bring his handicap mark down ready for March and the Grand Annual Handicap Chase. They have the chance to slowly bring him along while bringing his handicap mark down to 138, in Dan Skelton style who funnily enough, used to train this horse. He may surprise us and they have him fit but the second guessing is not part of how I operate these days.
I would much rather back a very fit MATATA who I think is a reasonable price with only 4 runners in the race. He comes into the race after finishing 2nd to another of today’s runners in Calico, beaten only a neck, and is 3lb better off at the weights.
Sam Twiston Davies in the saddle once again, on another front runner and I can see him going 10 lengths clear before being closed upon but the ship would have already sailed. WIN.
