CUE CARD is a special horse in my eyes and for 3 years since running in the supreme I have waited for him to tackle 3 miles. I have no doubt in my mind he will get the trip. That’s all I have heard is he won’t stay. Of course he will, he is out of kings theatre( same as riverside theatre who stays every yard). CUE CARD is also out of a mare called wicked crack, who ran in a grand national and longer distances than today’s 3 miles. How can he not stay 3 miles with this breeding. The ground will not be a problem. It will be a test but I think he is right up to the task. He is a matured horse this year, a lot stronger, more settled and a horse who got within 7 lengths of sprinter sacre. 11/2 is a fair price but also wouldnt put anyone off backing CUE CARD for the gold cup. He is 33/1 ante post.
