Today Selection is in the Welsh Champion Hurdle at Ffos Las.
2:05 Im going to give BALDER SUCCES a 2nd chance after his shocking run last time out in the Ladbroke Hurdle at Ascot. He was well fancied that day and I honestly believe he alot better horse than that showing. He has since been dropped 2 lb by the handicapper to a mark of 145.
I actually tipped BALDER SUCCES a few weeks ago in above race so I have not lost faith. Below are the comments I made.
(I was taken by both BALDER SUCESS runs this season. His form behind Zarkandar looks impressive after Zarkandar went on to Win at cheltenham last week. BALDER SUCESS then went on to win his next race easily. I think conditions will play right into his hands.)
Alan King thinks alot about our selection and I am very happy with the 10/1 widely available. He went off 7/1 in a much more competitive race at Ascot last time out, yet today with a 2 lb lower mark and alot weaker opposition we can get 10/1. I think he is nailed on for a place at the worst and surely King will have him firing after being so below par last time.
Massive value in this bet.
