For me the winner here and best horse in the race is BODY AND SOUL.
Trained by Tim Easterby BODY AND SOUL has done nothing wrong and is lightly raced with only 6 starts in his career.
I can forgive his last as this was only his first start of the season. I expect him to come on considerably for that run. I cant get away from his form last season, when behind Hototo and more so when destroying a 21 runner field at Redcar when he had Hototo behind that day.
Hototo has gone on to contest group 1s at Newmarket after finishing 2nd to BODY AND SOUL. This shows our pick has more than enough ability to win a rather weak looking class 2.
What I like most is the ability BODY AND SOUL has to handle big fields and doing so as only a 2 year old he contested 3 race with over 20 runners. His form reads 131 in races of 20 runners and over. Todays race has exactly 20 runners.
He is fairly treated on a mark of 95 and only carries 8ST 11lb.
At 12/1 he is decent E/W value but I really feel he will be to good for these and Win the race.
