3:50 – BURTON PORT is thrown in on a mark of 141 and with everything in his favour will be a very hard horse to beat around Sandown over 3m 5f. At best BURTON PORT finished 4th in the Gold Cup and has been a career high 166 so is now a huge 25lb below that. He is only 10 so he does have a big race left in him I believe. Tony McCoy is on board which is a huge plus and 2 runs ago he looked back to his old self. He was made Handy that day and took the lead. I can see Tony McCoy doing the same today giving him plenty of daylight when jumping the fences. I honestly think BURTON PORT could turn out to be one of the bets of the season especially as he is trained by Jonjo Oneil who has had one of his best seasons ever. 10/1 is available.
