Saturday’s free tip comes from yet another National. This week we go to Ayr in Scotland and we have two selections.

Good luck

3:55 Ayr

We have 2 big price selections in this race.

HENRY PARRY MORGAN is a huge price at 20/1. He is now rated 135 by the handicapper which is absolutely tiny. I am sure he can win off that mark. It was only this time last year the horse was finishing 2nd to Native River rated 149 by handicapper. His year has not been a great one but he was in the handicappers grip in my opinion. This new mark is far too lenient. I think 4 miles will be right up his street. Trainer Peter Bowen knows how to win a Scottish National after winning the race in 2014 and jockey Robert Dunne also as he won the race in 2015. Two people teaming up who have winning form in the race, what more can you ask for. Overpriced in my opinion. E/W.

Another Peter Bowen horse who is absolutely huge is AL CO at 33/1. What a price for a horse who has previously won the race back in 2014. We know he likes the course and often horses come back and run big races year after year in these Nationals. OK he has not looked the same horse since but his handicap mark reflects that. He won the race in 2014 off a mark of 140 yet is 5lb lower today on a mark of 135. He was a winner last May so still retains some of his old ability. AL CO will find it difficult but at 33/1 I am happy to take a chance on a horse who is tried and tested at the course and in particular the race. E/W.
