SOUTHFIELD STONE 6/1 generally – 1 POINT WIN

I think SOUTHFIELD STONE is way overpriced here at 6/1. The favourite Master Tommytucker looks Paul Nicholls first string but he has had 3 starts and has fell twice. I wouldn’t want to be backing him at 9/4. I think SOUTHFIELD STONE who is trained by Paul Nicholls has just as good a chance and Bryony Frost got on well with the horse at Musselburgh last time out. It was a 3 runner race but he beat the 2nd that day by 24 lengths. The 2nd was rated 144 by the handicapper. For me it is all about going right handed for this horse. He loves it and all 5 of his wins have are over right handed tracks. He is having his 5th start over fences this season and is getting better with each start. Only 7 runners and I think he is suited to smaller fields. WIN.
