THE BIG BREAKAWAY 13/2 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W
I really like Chantry House as a horse and I really like THE BIG BREAKAWAY as a horse. I think the likeliest winner is Chantry House but that is reflected in the price. On the other hand I have always said THE BIG BREAKAWAY has a raw ability but needs races to learn. He would have learned so much last time out in the RSA and for a long way he put it up to Monkfish. At the price I think he is overpriced and I would like to see them let him go off in front and put them to the sword. I think this horse stays further than today’s trip and is a future National Horse, so it could pay to let him use his stamina. One of these days this horse is going to put in a proper display and everything will click. Let’s hope this is today. Whatever way we look at it, he is overpriced and should be around the 9/2 mark.
