Scholastic came home 4th fro each way money yesterday and you have to think with a clear run she goes close. She flew home at the end of the race and in a race where she had a terrible passage, to even place with an excellent effort.
On our Punchestown Festival Special we almost landed a 22/1 with Call Me Lyreen who came home 2nd for each way money, beaten on the nod.

5:20 Punchestown
VANILLIER 11/4 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
I am not sure why VANILLIER is not favourite here after demolishing a field by 11 lengths, in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle. Absolutely huge price as if this horse was trained by Willie Mullins and won the Albert Bartlett by 11 lengths, you would be looking at an evens shot. Instead they have made the Willie Mullins trained horse, Galopin Des Champs favourite, who although I respect, only won a handicap at the Cheltenham Festival and is having his first try over 3 miles.
I am sure the instructions for Jonathan Moore will be to go out and make this stern test as all this horse does is stay and stay. I was impressed with how well he won at the festival as this horse is built like a chaser. He is a big tough horse and is the one to beat for me.
