A lovely free tip winner yesterday as Falcon Eight was given a top class ride by Frankie Dettori.
As we said in the write up, it was his only ride at Chester and Dermot Weld would not be sending him from Ireland if he was not all out to win. Job done at a lovely 15/2.
Don’t forget we have a Flat Season Package which will see you through the whole season and every tip we send out, between now and 7th October, for only £94.99 using discount code – JPWFLAT15

I think those drawn higher will have the advantage here as that is where the pace is coming from although I expect the whole field to meet in the middle.
RAISING SAND loves cut in the ground and loves soft ground. He has won 4 races at Ascot and was 4th in this particular race back in 2019 off a mark of 103. He lines up here rated 104 but has Saffie Osborne claiming 7lb which brings the mark down 96. I rate Saffie Osborne as a jockey and she is very neat and tidy. She is riding well and has won 4 times from her last 18 rides. RAISING SAND is drawn in 26 and given he likes to come with a late run, it is a the perfect draw has he will have plenty of daylight. E/W.
ZIP is a horse who has had 18 starts on soft or heavy ground and placed 11 times. That is a 61% strike rate of finishing in the frame. This is going to be his biggest test to date but he is right at the bottom of the handicap and Laura Pearson claims a further 5lb. She is another jockey who is neat and tidy and could be worth her 5lb claim. ZIP carries under 7lb and is drawn right down the middle. He was a winner last week on the All Weather so comes into the race a fit horse. He may be out of his depth here but given his form on the ground, it is worth taking the chance, especially with lots of places up for grabs. E/W.
GREENSIDE is not getting any younger at the age of 10 but he is very consistent, particularly around Ascot. He was 2nd in a big handicap over 7f at Ascot back in October 2019. This was followed up with a 7th of 23 at last year’s Royal Ascot and then was 3rd again back in October. He seems to run well on soft ground and is now down to a handicap mark of 100. Marco Ghani claims 3lb which will be appreciated and although it is hard to see him winning, I can certainly see him placing at big odds. You never know the high draw may be an advantage and he might finally get a win in one of these big handicaps. E/W.
Good Luck
