SAFE VOYAGE 4/1 with Paddy Power and Betfair – 1.5 POINTS WIN
SAFE VOYAGE looks a great price at 4/1 given he the highest rated horse in the field by a huge 6lb. He also won this race back in 2019 and he loves it around Haydock with his form reading 11112. Four wins from 5 starts at the course is as good as it gets. His last 3 runs have been in Group 1 races where he was simply outclassed. Now back to Group 3 level he ought to excel again. Last season he won 2 group 2 races so we know he is capable on his day. SAFE VOYAGE is also a proper soft ground horse who will relish the ground. I also believe he is a 7 furlong specialist. If he is not thereabouts then something is wrong as this race looks weak compared to what he is a capable of. WIN.
