We have tips in every race at Royal Ascot and today we are giving away two tips for free:

*PRICES CORRECT AT THE TIME OF SENDING LAST NIGHT*

3:40 King’s Stand Stakes
WINTER POWER 9/2 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
ARECIBO 50/1 generally – 0.375 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
First of all the pace in this race is . Maven, Glamorous Anna, Ornate, Que Amoro, Winter Power, Baattash, Liberty Beach and Oxted, all like to get on with things, either leading or being prominent. They will not be hanging around here that is for sure.
All eyes will be on superstar Baataash here and if he is 100% he will win the race. Trouble is he is coming back from an injury after sustaining a small fracture and is 1 month behind in training. Surely that is far from ideal and if we are going to take him on, it is in this race.
I am going to take a punt on WINTER POWER who is only a 3 year old filly and gets filly and 3 year old weight allowance. She will be carrying 11lb less than the older colts and that includes Baataash. I believe this is far too much weight to give away to a horse who has an amazing burst of speed. She travels with such ease through her races and when asked to go and win a race, she just has speed to burn.
She looked better than ever when returning at York last month, winning by an easy 3 lengths.
I also believe given how she glides off the surface, this fast ground will play to her strengths. She just looks a very straightforward filly, and never looks to have a hard race.
She really could be the new sprint Queen and with the massive weight advantage, has to be thereabouts. WIN.
I am taking a punt of ARECIBO and that is not because I think he is a group 1 horse but back to the pace angle and the booking of Jamie Spencer. They are a match made in heaven, particularly with so much pace in the pace. We all know Jamie Spencer is a stylish jockey and he rides to look good. His recent statement was a bit controversial but that is another story. Fact remains he is a hold up jockey and when he rides a hold up horse, he is the best in the business.
ARECIBO will be swinging away at the back of the field and will get a lovely toe into the race. He is probably not good enough to win this race but at a big price he can certainly make the frame with so many things in his favour.
He has run 3 times this season and has won 2 races. He switched yards from David O’Meara to Robert Cowell back in April and Mr Cowell (not Simon), has got more improvement out of the horse.
At a huge price I can see him running on late in the day when the others have taken each other on and have burned out.
You never know he could go on and win if others underperform and I am happy to take my chance at the prices. E/W.

4:20 St James’s Palace Stakes
LUCKY VEGA 13/2 generally – 0.75 POINTS E/W  (4 places, 1/5 odds)
We have been following LUCKY VEGA this season and I really think he is a horse with exceptional talent. He ran a cracker in the English 2000 guineas to come home 3rd and then ran an awful race in the Irish 2000 guineas, but still plugged on for 4th. He hated the soft ground that day so I am happy to put a line through the form and just concentrate on what he did in the English 2000 Guineas.
The ground is absolutely crucial to LUCKY VEGA, the faster the better and he is going to love a course like Ascot.
I remember last season Jessica Harrington making a statement that he was better going around a bend, those little snippets can make all the difference so it fills me with confidence given they will be going around a bend here.
He was a group 1 winner last season and he has already shown us he has trained on this season, with his 3rd in the 2000 guineas. I am hopeful he can do the business here and confident he places at the very least. E/W.

Good Luck
