Another winner yesterday which followed on from our winner on Thursday and the excellent form continues……
I may be biased but with all these winners and the fact we are nearly 40 points in profit in a month, the £35 for the remainder of the flat season (another 3 months), is extraordinary value for a tipster who has been around for 13 years producing the goods.
Today we have tips in 5 races and we are giving away 2 for free.
*PRICES CORRECT AT THE TIME OF SENDING LAST NIGHT*
1:50 Newbury
BLESS HIM 28/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (4 places William Hill and Betfair)
I have mentioned in the past how fast ground is a must for BLESS HIM to be at his best. We actually tipped him at a huge price at Royal Ascot where he travelled better than anything but at group 1 the company was outclassed and just didn’t have the finishing kick. I also mentioned in my Royal Ascot Review that BLESS HIM was entered at Windsor on his next start and had no chance of winning because the ground was too soft. I made reference to sending him to Goodwood for a handicap and pray it comes up fast. Well this is a race early where they may be looking after his handicap mark for Goodwood but at the price of 28/1, I am happy to take a chance with 28C weather I can see tomorrow, as well as hot weather this evening. BLESS HIM is a strong traveller but has lacked that finishing kick over 1m so maybe this step up to 1m 2f will be the key. As always I expect him to be held up at the back of the field and Jamie Spencer to try and ride him like Jamie Spencer rides a horse, trying to showboat. This is a listed race and it is well within range on his best days. Fingers crossed he can go close and at least find the 4 places they are paying at William Hill and Betfair.
2:20 Curragh
CELTIC TIMES 6/1 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
I am happy to go in with a raised stake on CELTIC TIMES because I actually make him a 9/4 shot in my book. We are over 50% better off at the prices than what I feel he should be and that is why we need to try and take advantage of that with a raised stake. It is not always that easy but I will never shy away when I am confident and will always trust in my ability.
The main danger is obviously Beauty Inspire who was an impressive winner on debut but it was only in a maiden. I am not getting too carried away as you have to go all the way to the 9th to find a winner next time out so it leaves me feeling, how strong is the form.
CELTIC TIMES has already finished in front of The Entertainer so I can’t see why he is at a shorter price. That race was when CELTIC TIMES came home 4th to Castle Star who went on to finish 2nd in a very strong group 2 at the Curragh on his next start. Back in 3rd that day was Masseto who finished 3rd in the above group 2 on his next start. That 4th has a lot of substance to it and given the fact CELTIC TIMES won his next start at Tipperary easily, he looks the improving type. He is down in trip to 6 1/2f from 7 1/2f on his last start but to me he looks to have plenty of speed combined with a bit of stamina.
I expect CELTIC TIMES to go from the front and basically play catch me if you can. If he can go hard enough from the off which I am sure he will, his stamina can then come into play in the closing stages.
Good Luck
