No joy on the free tips yesterday as we could only manage a 2nd and a 3rd.

SISKANY 9/2 generally – 1 POINT E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
SISKANY is one of my handicap bets at Goodwood. Rated 98 I feel he could still be ahead of the handicapper and has a lot more left in the tank. He beat Surefire on his first start of the season and then was an impressive winner at Sandown. His final start came at Royal Ascot when 4th in the King George VI Handicap to Surefire, a horse he beat earlier in the season but this time had to give away 7lb. It was an excellent effort and the fact he has been well rested since will bode well. I really think SISKANY will end up a group horse and the fact he will have cut in the ground will only enhance his chances, as that was the ground he run on at Sandown. E/W.
