ESCOBAR 16/1 generally – 1 POINT E/W ( 6 places William Hill and 7 places Sky Bet)
I thought ESCOBAR ran a cracking race last time out when 3rd to Maydanny at Goodwood. He went down by 2 lengths that day and met Maydanny on 6lb better terms. His form on his penultimate start was excellent when 5th to Kinross in the Lennox Stakes. He always runs a nice race and is sure to be involved again at a nice price. E/W.

SPIRIT OF BERMUDA 4/1 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
SPIRIT OF BERMUDA has been in my notebook for sometime and was tipped up at Glorious Goodwood but made a non runner due to the ground going soft. The ground is much better here and will be to her liking. To me she looks a highly progressive filly who is very well handicapped on her mark, hence the raised stake. WIN.
