SYSTEM 10/1 generally – 1 POINT E/W (5 places, 1/5 odds)
SYSTEM is excellent value at the prices and although she finished behind today’s favourite last time out, she is 2lb better off at the weights and the step up to 6 1/2 furlongs, sure to be appreciated, judging by her breeding. She was an excellent winner of a listed race at Newmarket back in July, coming from last to first, beating Desert Dreamer who is now rated 102. She was not disgraced on her next start in group 3 company when 5th of 10 to Zain Claudette at Ascot. Her latest run was at York but she looked to be crying out for a step up in trip that day and although this is only 1/2f further, it all helps. The jockey booking of William Buick is eye-catching and trainer Richard Hannon does well with these types of horses. E/W.
