We were away on holiday last weekend so no free tips were sent out so this is the first set of free tips since the Grand National. What a Grand National it was as we came away with 3 each ways from the 4 selections sent. We had a 3rd, 4th and 5th, making some nice profit.
Today we have a very busy day at Sandown and we are giving away 2 free tips from our 6 selections sent to members.

DOCTOR PARNASSUS 7/1 generally – 0.75 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
DOCTOR PARNASSUS ran a cracking race in the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival coming home 7th of 12. I think the run is better than it looks on paper as he travelled well into the race but just got done for speed in between the last 2 hurdles before staying on up the hill. finishing a neck behind Porticello.
Trainer Dan Skelton has obviously planned to send him to this race since Cheltenham as he could have gone to Aintree for the juvenile hurdle but instead is using his 4 year old weight allowance of 7lb by running him in a handicap. If he was a 5 year old he would be carrying 11st 12lb and Knappers Hill 11st 10lb going by ratings but as he is a juvenile he will carry just 11st 6lb.
This is a horse who has only had 3 starts over hurdles and is improving all the time. He won his first 2 races on bridle and as mentioned above, ran well in the Grade 1 Triumph Hurdle.
Now back down in class and running in a handicap you have to think he goes close.
It is also worth pointing out that his 2 wins over hurdles this season came on right handed course and with Sandown being right handed it could further enhance his chances. He is a speedy horse who came from the flat and if this gets into a sprint he will have some flat speed to burn at this level. A tad overpriced.

WIN MY WINGS 11/2 generally – 0.75 POINT E/W (5 places, 1/5 odds)
The way this horse won the Scottish National on the bridle it is hard to see how she won’t be involved here. It was not like she had a hard race and jockey Rob James never had to get serious on her. She has been raised a big 14lb which is obviously less than ideal but we do have Rob James back in the saddle taking 7lb off the back which brings the weight down to 11st 5lb. WIN MY WINGS also won the Eider Chase on her penultimate start, again virtually on the bridle and whatever Christian Williams has done with this horse, he has got her in the form of her life. Her mark comes down to 147 if taking the claim into consideration and the way she won the Scottish National, it was of a horse who was better than 147. If she can win this race, which is very possible, what a training performance by Christian Williams. E/W.
Good Luck
