We have tips in 5 races today but we have chosen 2 free tips at random.
THE NEWEST ONE 12/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (5 places, 1/5 odds)
Interestingly this is Nigel Twiston Davies only runner at Cheltenham tomorrow. Something that you never see at this festival given the course is just 5 miles away from him. I am sure he is not taking THE NEWEST ONE there for nothing and at the prices he is excellent value. THE NEWEST ONE has been improving year upon year and with another summer on his back I expect him to have improved again. He goes very well fresh and was a winner for the first time up last season. He may be up the handicap to a mark of 124 but James Turner takes 7lb off his back bringing his mark down to 117. I think Cheltenham will suit him down to the ground as he stays very well and should appreciate the Cheltenham hill. I would like to see James Turner be positive on him and ride him prominently. E/W.
PULL AGAIN GREEN 11/4 generally – 1 POINT WIN
Now it is back to Fergal O’Brien with PULL AGAIN GREEN who alhough is making his debut over the bigger obstacles, as long as he takes to them he should be too good for these. He was the best hurdler in the field, he has decent form around Cheltenham and simply ticks all the boxes. He is a smooth traveller and can quicken up nicely which can be crucial over fences at Cheltenham. Hopefully he takes to chasing and if he does I see nothing but an easy win. As we said above Fergal targets this meeting and he will have PULL AGAIN GREEN as fit as a fiddle. WIN.
