Free Horse Racing TIps

You are here: Home / Free Horse Racing TIps / Free Tips – Royal Ascot Day 2 Tips

We could only manage a 16/1 3rd on Day 1 Free Tips, with our Nap of the festival coming home 2nd. Our other selection Bobsleigh ran a nice race and finished just outside the places. To be fair all selection ran nice races and on another day it is a different story.

We go again today and don’t forget anyone who wants the remaining 4 days of Royal Ascot can do so by signing up via the website.

You can also access all our tips until the 5th October, for just £50.00.

When the pressure is on, we will deliver, as simple as that and that is why Royal Ascot is not to be missed for anyone.

YERWANTHERE 11/2 generally – 0.75 POINTS E/W (5 places, 1/5 odds)
This is a tough race over 1 mile on the round course and I am quietly confident with a clear passage, YERWANTHERE is the one they all have to beat. I also like the booking of James McDonald who for me is tactically one of the best jockey’s around. I am confident he will have YERWANTHERE in all the right positions at all the right times, exactly what you need in a big field handicap, going around a bend. The Joseph O’Brien trained horse was a winner of his first 2 career starts last season as a 3 year old and then had her first start as a 4 year old a month ago at Naas. You could say she was a very unlucky loser as she travelled well through the race but the gaps closed and found all sorts of traffic problems. Judging by what I saw, I am confident that she is a better horse than 93 and could have a good 5lb – 10lb up her sleeve. Drawn in 10 here, James McDonald should be able to get her to tuck just off the leaders and wait for the gaps to unfold up the straight. She has been a hold up horse in the past but I am hopeful she will get tucked in 6th, 7th or 8th and if that is the case she is sure to find the gaps late on. With 5 places on offer she makes the frame at the very least but I am quietly confident she will get the win. E/W.

GRANDE DAME 7/1 with Bet 365 and Paddy Power – 0.75 POINTS E/W
GRANDE DAME is a horse who is in my notebook as one of the top 3 year old fillies from last season, who I expect to be even better as a 4 year old. The John Gosden trained horse is very lightly raced with just 6 career starts and I don’t think he has got anywhere near to the bottom of her yet. She has a huge frame which simply needs filling and over the winter I expect that would have been the case. She has not run this season yet, but knowing how well John Gosden is with his fillies, he would have brought her along slowly to peak at Royal Ascot. Her final start last season came at Newmarket in a group 1 where she travelled like the winner under a Jamie Spencer ride, but could not pick up the leaders, He is back in the saddle today and I am sure she will once again travel smoothly through the race and if she has filled that big frame out, she can power on inside the final furlong. I have no doubt she is up to this level and I am confident we are going to see an even better 4 year old. E/W.
