Another weekend is upon us and we go again with the free tips.
We have tips in 5 races today on the full service but are giving away 2 tips for free.

We are also heading to Glorious Goodwood on Tuesday for the start of their fantastic 5 day festival. We recently smashed the Newmarket July Festival out of the park and JPW and Festivals go hand in hand the majority of the time.

LETHAL LEVI 13/2 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
SUMMERGHAND 8/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
We are going into this handicap with 2 selections.
LETHAL LEVI is a front runner and I like horses who go from the front at York. He showed a liking to the course back in May when an excellent 2nd to Bielsa in a better handicap than this. He then went to Royal Ascot for the Wokingham finishing midfield while last time out he had a spin on the all weather, coming home 3rd of 9. He is rated 99 by the handicapper so is going to need a career best but around this time of year, he puts in his best performances. Clifford Lee has an excellent relationship with the horse and I expect him to make the frame at the very least. E/W.
SUMMERGHAND is not getting any younger but now down to a handicap mark of 97 he looks very dangerous. He started the season rated 108 so is down 11lb in just a few months and surely he is now back to what looks a winnable handicap mark.
I said last time out when running at Pontefract, I fancied him on paper but was not getting involved as I believed they may be lining a race up for him and could possibly look after his handicap mark. He came home 6th of 7 and in the process got his mark down a further 3lb. Admittedly he has not had a great season but it is safe to say rated 108, he was too high in the handicap.
York is a course he loves along with a fast run race which he can come from off the pace. He is no doubt going to get that pace with our first selection Lethal Levi going from the front and I can see SUMMERGHAND finishing fast and hard.
He did the same at York last August when winning the Constantine Handicap beating Commanche Falls who just won a group 3 last weekend.
I just know he has one more big race in him and I think today could be the day. E/W.
3:40 Ascot
KING OF STEEL 9/2 generally – 1.25 POINTS WIN
KING OF STEEL & AUGUSTE RODIN (0.25 POINTS REVERSE EXACTA)
My NAP of the day and I think KING OF STEEL is a horse who is going to be very hard to beat. He is a huge horse with a huge stride and on his very first start of the season, he was 2nd to Auguste Rodin in the English Derby. To come home 2nd in the Derby without a run under his belt, tells you he is a proper horse. He faces the same horse today who also went on to win the Irish Derby but I don’t think Auguste Rodin was that impressive in the Irish Derby. He is certainly beatable on that evidence and he lines up against a horse who went on to win the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot. No doubt KING OF STEEL is a much better horse than what he was in the English Derby and I think he could go on and win the Arc after this race.
The 3 year olds get nearly a stone from the older horses and I think that is too much weight to give away against the likes of KING OF STEEL and Auguste Rodin, so with that in mind I will also put up a Reverse Exacta for the 3 year olds. WIN.
