THERE’S THE DOOR 10/1 generally – 0.75 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
 
My NAP of the day is THERE’S THE DOOR who looks a big price and offers massive value. She loves soft ground so this is going to be right up her street. She was a winner on her first start of the season on soft ground, was 2nd to Savethelastdance in the Cheshire Oaks on her next start, she was down the field at Longchamp two starts back, while she ran a cracker to come home 3rd to Sunset Point on soft ground last time out, with the 1m 4f stretching her stamina. Now back down to 1m 2f, she should get home much better and is another horse I would like to see made full use of from the front. She clearly stays a bit further and if she gets to the front she could be hard to peg back. This is her easiest task of the season and on a mark of 91 she can win this Fillies Handicap. E/W.

KILCRUIT 13/2 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (6 places, 1/5 odds)
I have been eyeing up Hewick for this race if the ground come up good but with the bad weather coming, this ground will be soft. Everything has fallen into place for KILCRUIT who has no doubt been laid out for the race. Galway is a tight track and you don’t see horses coming from back at this course, very rarely anyway, so the fact KILCRUIT likes to do things from the front will only enhance his chances. He loves going right handed and showed us at Punchestown in April exactly what he can do from the front on a right handed course, when winning by 15 lengths. Paul Townend takes the ride and I can see KILCRUIT going away from them in over the last two fences. E/W.
