We have been in great form over the last month and the start of the Flat Season. A big Flat Season is on the cards, no doubt about it.

The York Dante Festival starts today and we have 3 tips for day 1 which have been sent to members.

We are giving out one free tip which was actually sent to members at 28/1 and is now into 12/1. Our eye for value never goes away and although the horse has got to win, we have done our job before the race starts, as is so often the case.

FIRST FOLIO 28/1 William Hill, 22/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (5 places, 1/5 odds)
Hell of a price on FIRST FOLIO here. Back in 2023 FIRST FOLIO was sent off 6/1 favourite for this race rated 100. He was poor that day but coming back to the race two years later, he is down to 87 which is 13lb lower than when he last ran in the race. 
The key to this horse is the ground, he likes it fast and with the ground described as good to firm, he will love it. 
He is obviously a horse who has gone down the handicap so we are taking a chance he can bounce back, but there has to be a point where his handicap mark becomes too low and hopefully today is that day. 
He comes into the race on the back of two poor efforts this season, but they may just have got him fit for this race with a decent prize up for grabs.
He was a winner back in September 2024 off a mark of 86 and that was only 4 starts ago and it was on good to firm ground. Just 1lb higher in the handicap for this race and he is drawn in 2. Last year the winner and the rest came to the middle to low draws, so if that is the case in this race, he is drawn well in 2. 
I just think right near the bottom of the handicap with 8st 10lb on his back and an experienced jockey in Joe Fanning, can see him nick a place at the very least. 
Trainer Julie Camacho horses are also absolutely flying along with 11 of her last 19 runners, hitting the frame. 
FIRST FOLIO looks like huge value and with 5 places on offer and 16 runners, you have got to be hopeful of a place. E/W.
