Today’s free tips
Saturday 1st November
Poor run from Tommy’s Oscar today and to be honest he was given an easy time at the back of the field. He also jumped right most of the way around and if truth be told, he was never winning today and is being handicapped. Unlike Ann Hamilton whose horses generally are trying but not this one. I will be keeping an eye on the horse for later on down the line once the handicap mark has continued to drop.
We have done well over the last few weekends so hopefully more of the same this weekend with our 3 selections….
3:10 Ascot
MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE 15/2 generally – 0.75 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
A very competitive handicap hurdle where MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE has been on my radar all week. A quirky horse but on his day a decent enough horse who is well capable of winning off his mark of 118. That is without taking into consideration the 5lb claim of James Turner which brings the mark down to 113. I think he has been laid out for the race and James Turner in the saddle is purposely to give him an extra lightweight of 10st 4lb on his back.
MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE made his seasonal reappearance at Chepstow 3 weeks ago and I thought travelled very well just going down a couple of lengths to another of today’s runners, Wasington. He meets that horse on 4lb better terms (9lb with the claim) which is going to be the difference in my opinion.
MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE has always been a better horse going right handed and has run some nice races off higher handicap marks, at Ascot in the past.
I really think he will go very close here apart from any mistakes or any quirky tendencies. E/W.
