No joy with our free tip yesterday although we did make profit on the day with our full service. That is the beauty of being a full time member, you miss nothing.

1:30 Chester
ADONIUS 10/3 WINNER
ADONIUS is a horse who likes to go forward from the stalls so his draw in 1 is perfect. He is yet to lose a race, having won two out of two. He debuted last month at Musselburgh with a convincing performance and followed it up a week later in a decent race. Rebecca Menzies has spoken highly of this horse since and has even mentioned Royal Ascot as a dream for the owners. If ADONIUS can win this, the dream remains alive, and no doubt he will be primed for this race, to keep the sequence going.
He has to give weight away to the field but I think he can handle it.
Obviously a few dangers in the field will give him a run for his money, but at this price, ADONIUS is worth getting involved with. I make him an 11/4 shot so the 10/3 is a little bit of value. WIN.

1:30 Chester
VINTAGE CLARETS 28/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (4 places, 1/5 odds)
We are taking a wild swing at a big price here with VINTAGE CLARETS but with good reason. VINTAGE CLARETS may be entering the race on the back of two poor runs but it does mean he is a fit horse and it does mean his handicap mark is down to 89. We also have Ethan Tindall in the saddle who claims 5lb so it basically brings his handicap mark down to 84.
Now he comes from Stall 11 but VINTAGE CLARETS has run at Chester 4 times previously, securing two wins and one third-place finish by a neck. On one of those two wins he was drawn in 9 and came from the back of the field, so it can be done.
He was also 3rd in this race back in 2024 off a handicap mark of 95 so he is 11lb lower this time around.
For a horse who has been just a neck away from 3 wins from 4 starts at this course, I think the price on offer is absolutely huge and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run a big race.
As I said, we’re taking a wild swing here, but he should not be 28/1. I’m confident we’re ahead of the trader before the race is run, exactly as it should be. E/W.
