I have been lining up LINWOOD for this race for some time, and as I said today, Jamie Spencer is decent on prominent horses. He gave Jakajaro a great ride today and LINWOOD likes to be up with the pace. He is drawn in 16 which is a lovely draw. After winning last time out Richard Hannon talked about taking him to France, for the Prix d’Ispahan which is a Group 1. He would not have won that race but if Richard Hannon is talking about him as a Group 1 horse, he must have an outstanding chance in this handicap. LINWOOD is a 4-year-old who is just getting better and better and although rated 108, if he is the Group 1 horse they think he is, he could still have a few pounds left up his sleeve. They have trained him for the last two months for this race and protected his handicap mark so you can guarantee he will be 100% spot on. E/W.
