YORK EBOR FESTIVAL LOWDOWN
Another profitable festival behind us where we ended up with 3 winners and 1 E/W bet. That 16 out of the last 20 festival in profit. Below you will find a write up on all winners, E/W and horses to keep an eye out for in the future.
I have drawn up a results page which saw us make a profit of £135.50 to £10 win bets and £5 E/W bets. At £100 win and £50 E/W we made a huge profit of £1355.
The Ebor Festival couldn’t of got off to a better start with CASPIAN PRINCE going in at an advised 33/1 and that pretty much set us up for the week.

WINNERS
CASPIAN PRINCE got us off to a flyer winning at 33/1. I always felt before the off that he could be dangerous off a mark of 102 and it proved right. He was given a great ride and found his form which saw him take a really good race in Dubai in February. Will now be in handicappers grip again so probably best left alone until his handicap mark comes down.
PLEASCACH was given a great ride by Kevin Manning who done himself justice after giving a few terrible rides in Group races this season. PLEASCACH should never of been allowed to go off at 8/1 as those odds were not a true reflection of his chances. Looks a horse who could go on to better things and the fact they now know he fully stays the 1m 4f, they have many different ways of riding the horse.
FADHAYYIL off bottom weight and some excellent pieces of form yet the night before the race 11/1 was available. A huge gamble took place and FADHAYYIL returned at 5/1. It was an easy win in all honesty.
EACH WAY
WICKLOW BRAVE was really unlucky and I thought he was going to get there but the winner kept finding more. The young jockey gave him a peach of a ride and I will be keeping an eye on Jack Kennedy as he is now 13 out of 20 where he has finished 2nd and 3rd. The win will come along soon and his 7lb claim could prove valuable.
HORSES TO FOLLOW
RECORDER – The queens horse was tough and kept finding and I was impressed with his attitude. The further RECORDER goes the he will improve.
LUMIERE – Was making only her 2nd start and run a decent race to finish 2nd. I think more improvement is to come from this Mark Johnson trained filly.
TASHAAR – On only his 3rd start TASHAAR tackled the big boys and run a decent race in 4th. I think this horse will only improve and is one to keep an eye out for.
RANSOM NOTE – I wouldn’t say this horse will improve as he is never going to be the same horse he once was. He is now on a mark of 90 and this was only his 2nd run in 2 years. The handicap mark should come down further and we should get a tasty price next time out.
