ARDLETHEN 9/2 with Paddy Power and Betfair – 1 POINT WIN

ARDLETHEN is the joing highest rated horse in the race on a mark of 142 and looks a decent price at 9/2. He has not done much wrong this season really and has to be thereabouts on what I have seen so far. He made a nice introduction to chasing when winning on his debut over fences at Chepstow, beating a good horse in Lisnagar Oscar. He then went to Wetherby and came home 2nd to Sam Spinner who was 2nd in last seasons Stayers Hurdle, at the Cheltenham Festival. His final start was in a Grade 2 at Newbury against Reserve Tank and Danny Whizzbang, both very good horses. He came home 3rd of 3 but only got beat 8 lengths. I think if he repeats his runs from any of his 3 races this season he will go very close to winning the race. WIN.
