No joy with yesterdays free tips but on our festival service we did give out 10/1 winner Tilsit. With the free tips we choose a horse at random from the daily tips, sometimes it comes off and sometimes is doesn’t, the value will always be in the festival service as you get access to all our tips.

TILSIT 10/1 WINNER
Khaloosy is going to be hard to beat, as the price suggests but TILSIT on this fast ground has to be worth a bet. He looked to have some engine when winning at Newcastle a month ago, by a huge 19 lengths. He is stepping up massively in class here but it was a very taking performance and he just kept going all the way to the line. He has so much improvement to come and although this race could possibly come too soon, it is worth taking the chance. WIN.

SUMMERGHAND 18/1 with Ladbrokes and Coral – 0.5 POINTS E/W (6 places, 1/5 odds)
LEXINGTON DASH 12/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (6 places, 1/5 odds)
SUMMERGHAND obviously has his work cut out carrying top weight in this huge handicap but he is just so consistent in these handicap races. Forget his last run when 6th of 12 in a group 3 race, he is just below group company but better than handicap company. Saying that it wasn’t a bad effort against some very good horses and a repeat of that run, would see him involved here, in my opinion. He was a winner on his penultimate start and also should have really won at Royal Ascot but was given a mountain to climb, coming home 2nd by a nose. He was also 4th in this race last year and I would say he seems a much better horse this season. We have not got anywhere near the calibre of horse in Khaadem who won the race last year and this is a slightly easier task. I think he is overpriced and will once again run his race. E/W.
LEXINGTON DASH is a horse who I think will turn out better than his current mark of 97. He is only a 3 year old so gets a 4lb weight allowance and Thore Hammer Hansen claims a further 3lb. He basically runs off a mark of 90 with 8st 6lb on his back. He was a decent 4th last time out on the ground which was probably against him and the return to fast will be suited. He has won 2 of his 3 races this season, both impressively and I think he can progress further. E/W.
