On Tuesday our website will change to National Hunt Package, ahead of the National Hunt Season which gets underway on the 11th October.

BATTLEGROUND 10/3 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
BATTLEGROUND is a strong fancy here. He is a proper horse who I believe can win the 2000 guineas and the Derby in 2021 in which he is the current ante post favourite. He is bred impeccably by War Front and out of Found and has looked so straightforward. He travels well and when asked the question, he finds an awful lot under pressure. BATTLEGROUND was very impressive when winning the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot and then was very impressive again when winning the group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood. This horse has the world at his feet and I am sure he will improve again. He is lightly raced with 3 starts and we have not seen the best of him. WIN.
