BUZZ 12/1 generally – 1 PT E/W (6 places, 1/5 odds)
I really like the look of BUZZ in this race who is the highest rated horse in the race but i think it is going to be run to suit. He travels so well through his races and he will no doubt get a lovely toe into the race. They won’t hang around here with 24 runners, right up his street. Kevin Brogan takes the ride and he is a jockey who is worth every bit of his 5lb claim. It brings the weight down to 11st 7lb and his handicap mark down 147. He nearly won the Betfair Exchange Trophy at Ascot back in December and that was off a mark of 148, with no claim on board. He is 1lb lower here and that doesn’t happen normally when you come 2nd in a big handicap. With 6 places on offer and a price of 12/1, I would be surprised if we couldn’t make any sort of profit with BUZZ. Fingers crossed we can get the win and I am happy to raise the stake. WIN.
