*PRICES CORRECT AT THE TIME OF SENDING LAST NIGHT*
1:45 Doncaster
COPPER KNIGHT 12/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W (7 places with Paddy Power and Sky Bet)
COPPER KNIGHT has had a magnificent season and loves these big field handicaps. His form this season reads 7315750212. He has won twice and placed 4 times from 10 starts. His last 3 runs have been excellent with a 2nd at this course back last month. This was followed up with his 2nd win of the season at York where he won a similar race to todays, off a mark of 92. His latest start was last weekend when 2nd, beaten a head off a mark of 96. He is now up to 98 which is not ideal but given he loves these big handicaps and has plenty of value in the 12/1 available, he is worth taking a chance on. E/W.
2:00 Chester
WELLS FARHH GO 11/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W
WELLS FARHH GO was a group horse a few seasons ago and is very lightly raced for a 6 year old. He clearly had a few problems as he was off the track for 587 days before running at York in May in the Yorkshire Cup which is a group 2. He is back down to listed level here and has the plum draw in 1. He is a horse who has raced freely and made all to win on a number of occasions. He stays further than today’s trip of 1m 4f so if he can get out fast, he could take some stopping out in front. Overpriced given he likes to front run and we all know Chester is suited to such horses. E/W.
2:35 Chester
NUITS ST GEORGES 11/2 generally – 1 POINT WIN
NUITS ST GEORGES is a horse who likes to front run and is a horse who loves cut in the ground. He gets the ground and also gets a plum draw in stall 1. He will try to make every yard of the running and will be able to hold the rail if he gets out fast. He was due to run at Doncaster yesterday but the ground was too quick so this switch looks ideal. He was two races on the bounce 2 starts back and knows how to get his head in front. I think a track like Chester will be to his liking. WIN.
Good Luck
