HAPPY ROMANCE 9/2 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
It was only last week when I said if HAPPY ROMANCE is back at group 2/3 level she could be worth a chance. Here we are a week later and she is running in a group 3 race and getting weight from nearly all the field apart from the 3 year olds. We have been on HAPPY ROMANCE the last 2 times where ultimately she was outclassed. Back down at this level on fast ground, she has to go very close here and I will increase the stake given my confident. She also won this race last year. WIN.
3:10 Curragh
EQUILATERAL 3/1 generally – 1.5 POINTS WIN
We tipped up EQUILATERAL last time out when he should really have won at Sandown but for massive traffic problems. If he had won he would be clear favourite here so given the fact he should have won, you could argue he is overpriced. The booking of Frankie Dettori is obviously very interesting and I am quietly confident he can win this race. WIN.
