SEE THE FIRE was a good winner on her debut last month at Newmarket and will progress further. She is up in class for this Group 2 but I really think she is up to this sort of company. She won going away last time out and had some highly regarded horses in behind. She is bred impeccably by Sea The Stars and out of a group 1 winning mare in Arabian Queen, so trainer Andrew Balding clearly thinks a lot of this horse. Personally I don’t think this is the strongest May Hill Stakes that you will see and SEE THE FIRE is the one who stands out most at the prices.
