KINROSS 13/8 generally – 1.25 POINTS WIN
Sometimes you just look at a race and instantly think ‘what beats him’? That is the exact feeling I had with KINROSS, he just wins this race on heavy ground. A winner of the Lennox Stakes, a winner of City Of York Stakes and then 2nd last time out in the Qatar Prix De La Foret on ground which was too quick for him. KINROSS won this race by an easy 2 lengths last year and the ground this time around is even more to his liking. He just knows how to win races and has won 10 races in his career, including two group 1 races and five group 2 races. He is a proper consistent horse who delivers at the top level, time and again. I would be very surprised if he did not win this. WIN.

VIA SISTINA 8/1 generally – 0.5 POINTS E/W
I have gone over this race many times and although the race has some very good horses, a lot of them want better ground. This is a race which makes me want to look away from the obvious and VIA SISTINA fits the bill perfectly. She is a proper mud lover and give her soft or heavy ground and she comes alive. She was an easy winner of the Dahlia Stakes back in May on Soft ground, by 6 lengths. She did win a group 1 in Curragh on her next start, but the ground was not ideal. You can put a line through her run at Newmarket in Falmouth Stakes as the 1 mile trip did not suit her. Her last start came at Deauville in a group 1 where she was beaten just a nose into 2nd. This 1m 2f trip really suits her and when she runs on bad ground, she is a completely different animal. I think she can surprise a few here and she gets that all important weight allowance off the boys. E/W.
Good Luck
