DICKIE DIVER 8/1 William Hill, Bet Victor – 0.5 POINTS E/W

DICKIE DIVER could literally be anything. He looks to have a raw talent and plenty of untapped potential. He has finished 2nd and 3rd on his last two starts, both over 2m 3 1/2f but he was always going to be better over further. They were basically nice starter races so he could learn, before unleashing him at the Cheltenham Festival. He was a 20 length winner of his sole point to point and connections paid £210k for him back in January 2018. He has obviously been allowed to mature. His breeding has Flemensfirth blood in so he won’t mind cut in the ground and he has Aidan Coleman on board who has been riding Paisley Park to victory over the same distance all season. Whether this race will come to early we will see tomorrow but from my point of view I think this will be the winner. I am happy to cover it with Birchdale just in case he needs a few more runs but DICKIE DIVER is a serious horse who will do all his best work late in the race.I know a good horse when I see one as simple as that.
