ROYAL ASCOT
Royal Ascot starts on Tuesday and we simply cannot wait to get going. We have been in top form, making a profit in the last six festivals, including the last big festival at Cheltenham.
Royal Ascot has been kind to us in the past and our record is 31 points profit in 2017. We all out to beat that record and are better prepared than ever. We have some big bets lined up and it is going to be an action packed 5 days.

FOXTROT LADY 9/2 with William Hill, 4/1 elsehwere – 1 POINT WIN
MISS CELESTIAL 5/1 generally – 1 POINT WIN
A listed fillies stakes and it is a race I am very keen to get involved with, with two against the field.
The favourite here is Farzeen who is rated 4lb inferior to Foxtrot Lady yet they run off level weights. I can’t understand why Farzeen is shorter in the betting. Yes she showed potential last season as a 3 year old, winning two novice races but came unstuck when she went up to Group 3 and Listed company, finishing down the field. In fact Foxtrot Lady finished in front of her in a Group 3 at Doncaster and even gave her 3lb. Today Foxtrot Lady is 3lb better off from that last run. Farzeen could improve but I am happy to take what I saw last season at face value and besides, she is not the right price and should be bigger.
An outside bet who I think can run a nice race is the William Muir trained Final Option. She is 3lb well in with her 3 year old weight allowance and should probably not be as big as she is. The only problem I have with her is her breeding tells me she wouldn’t want no further than 7f and is better at 6f. This is over 7f which she might well get but if it becomes a stamina test then she may well not get home. Not a chance I want to take, even so still a big price.
The two I want against the field are FOXTROT LADY and MISS CELESTIAL both of which I think should be shorter. I make FOXTROT LADY a 3/1 chance while MISS CELESTIAL a 4/1 chance. We are on at 9/2 and 5/1.
FOXTROT LADY is a consistent horse who always runs her races. She had some good form on the backend of last season when 5th of 13 in a Group 3 at Doncaster and as mentioned above finishing in front of Farzeen. She was also 6th of 13 (beaten 2 lengths) over a mile, in a listed race at Newmarket. She had her first start of the season on the All Weather 10 days ago and she would have hated the surface. She still came home 4th of 14 at a big price of 40/1. Now she has blown away the cobwebs, returns to her favoured 7 furlongs and also returns to turf, she has to be bang there. I really can’t have her out of the frame against a mediocre bunch at best. WIN.
MISS CELESTIAL is another consistent horse who is actually the highest rated horse in the field on a mark of 99. Her form last season was 13322 with her last four starts coming in Listed races. She ran on Sunday at Haydock over 6f getting beat by the talented Liberty Beach giving her 7lb. She only went down by 1 1/2 lengths and it was over a trip short of her best at 6f. She is now back up to 7f and she should come on for that run last week. Overpriced and has to be thereabouts. WIN.
Good Luck
