A GREAT VIEW 16/1 generally – 1 POINT E/W (6 places, 1/5 odds)
A GREAT VIEW is a horse I have been following this season and I believe he has been primed for this race. This is the horse Mark Walsh has chosen from 3 JP McManus horses in the race and on a mark of 124 with just 10st 9lb, on ground which is ideal, he has to be involved. In a race this size you need a bit of luck but given his 4 runs this season have been in races with 18 or more runners, he has plenty of experience. He was 3rd of 18 on his seasonal reappearance at Naas, this was followed by an excellent 2nd of 23 to Commander Of Fleet at Navan and that horse went on and won at Cheltenham. His next start was. 4th of 26 to Panda Boy (7lb better off at weights today) at Leopardstown and then 8th of 24 at the Leopardstown Dublin Festival on his next start. He has not been seen since and clearly saved for this race. He is not getting any younger but I do feel on what he has shown this season, he still has the ability to get involved here off a tiny handicap mark. E/W.

PAISLEY PARK 15/2 generally – 0.75 POINTS E/W (3 places, 1/5 odds)
PAISLEY PARK at the price is an actual insult. He was sent off near enough the same price at Cheltenham and we have no Flooring Porter, Champ or Thyme Hill to contend with here. He even finished in front of the Klassical Dream in the Stayers Hurdle, although this is the favoured course of Klassical Dream, I can’t have this much between them in the market. He was right back to best in the Cleeve Hurdle back in January and even surrendered a 15 length lead to beat the likes of Champ. PAISLEY PARK has had a fantastic career and always runs a nice race. Whether he still has it in him to win a race like this, we will have to find out but with a few front runners in the field, it is a race which will be run to suit and he can come from off the pace. E/W.
Good Luck
